these tiny o-rings fit perfectly in in the fill valve so that when the greengas is pushed down to fill it makes a prefect seal and no gas is lost,

to install place one o-ring on the fill valve and slowly work it in place with the tip of the gas can, rock the can around untill the o-ring starts to move into place, they fit snug so that they will not fall out, and they can be tricky to get into place, the trick is not to apply too much force as the o-ring could snag on the fill valve tip and tear, just go easy and gentle rocking it into place
