Salvo Precision dedicates its efforts to listening to customer feedback to continually enhance product quality. In this instance, they have addressed the concerns raised regarding their first generation rifles and implemented improvements in the SCX Gen 2 line. The Gen 2 now features a reciprocating spring buffer pad in its lower receiver for better recoil absorption and bolt travel, alongside a revised barrel clamp design to rectify barrel wobble and accuracy issues. They recommend applying blue Loctite to the barrel clamp screws during reassembly if the rifle is disassembled. The hop-up chamber base mount structure has also been redesigned for a more stable and secure assembly of the outer barrel and hop-up. Salvo advises verifying the two top bolt screws for security after every few games (or after each game) to prevent damage to the bolt, and suggests applying blue Loctite to these screws for better security. Additionally, for those using Tokyo Marui MWS STANAG GBB magazines, Salvo recommends swapping either the feed lips of the magazine or the MCX nozzle to Guns Modify for consistent feeding and reduced risk of damage.
