The MK46 is a variant of the base M249 or Minimi seen and used by many militaries around the world. The MK46 in particular is a variant used by the United States military forces and can easily be differentiated from the baseline M249. The two key differences are the addition of Picatinny rails on the upper receiver for the mounting of optics and the railed handguard up front.

This MK46 replica is T8's attempt to modernize the aging A&K MK46 airsoft machine gun. Externally, other than the nice and authentic battle-worn finish, this airsoft machine gun carries all the nice bits from the original A&K MK46, featuring a quick detach barrel and hop-up chamber, adjustable rear sights with Picatinny railed top cover, and handguard for accessories. The lower receiver has been updated to be of CNC construction and the buffer tube is of M4 / AR15 spec with a stock that is made for M4 / AR 15 giving it arguably better ergonomics.

Internally, this machine gun has an updated gearbox with a high-torque motor and CNC gear set, 8mm bearings, a piston with steel teeth, and also a quick detachable spring system allowing for quick spring change for different FPS, allowing users to tune this airsoft machine gun to your favorite field's requirements with ease.

The gun does come with a 2000-round drum magazine with a turbine reload system, this magazine is powered by a 9V battery cell.

Please note that this airsoft machine gun comes disassembled, however, assembly is pretty simple and straightforward. Includes stubby vertical foregrip.
